When used on the iPad and iPad mini, the TouchMix-30 Control app seamlessly aligns with the operational paradigm of the mixer. It operates independently from the mixer GUI, enabling the iPad to serve as an additional user interface with its own set of functions that may differ from those being controlled by the mixer's screen and hardware. Additionally, there is an alternative operation mode called "Follow Mixer." When engaged, this mode allows the iPad to follow the fader selection on the mixer. By touching a fader on the mixer, users can view and control corresponding channel overviews, EQ settings, compressors, sends, or gate screens on their iPads. Likewise, adjusting a parameter on the iPad screen will prompt the mixer's rotary control to make corresponding adjustments. Alternatively, users can simply drag on the iPad screen to make adjustments. It is worth noting that when used without an actual TouchMix device, the app serves as a demonstration of the mixer GUI and functionality.

On the iPhone and iPod touch, the TouchMix Control app functions as a personal stage monitor mix control. Additionally, it offers remote control capabilities for the mixer's record and playback features and programmable user buttons. In order to prevent accidental adjustments of controls, mixer operators have the option to allow or restrict access to selected functions on a per-device basis.

Requirements:

• QSC TouchMix-30 Pro with version 1.2 or higher firmware installed
